Brush piles are a pain. Around here with our large trees and the past month of high winds there are a number of them. It's my job to clean up the fallen limbs for the complex. It seems never ending, mainly because the kids around here are into playing super ninja Jedi sword fighting with the fallen branches, and after their done playing drop them where ever they happen to be standing when Mom calls them in for supper. So I have to pick them all up again.

City law prevents us from burning brush, so the piles sit till the contracted lawn maintenance Co. comes by to mow the grass and picks them up. Yeah, they haven't started mowing for the year yet. Often times the piles stay because the guys who do the mowing don't want to get off the mowers and pick them up. Hell we still have piles of leaves from last fall they left.
